Jeremy,

Thanks for your comment/reply regarding the Readers' thing... If you let me have something by Tuesday latest, I'll take it & I'd appreciate it too... Thanks.

Basically, something in about 100 words, would be perfect. I expect it'll probably be on Zadie's, but if you really must add a 2nd book also, it'd be fine.

The latest Writers' one is published today:

I've left the above reply on your blog as well.

Does the theater and film community in Lagos merge?

This is for the Renegade. There is no merger between the film community and that of theatre in Lagos, yet. You're also being generous with the description of a lot of those works as films. True, some of the better known faces in theatre crossed over to the more lucrative world of movies years back, yet there are few movies here that would pass close scrutiny if taken to international festivals. There is a tendency also for the theatre movement which often critically inspects the works of its own theatre practitioners,to look down upon the pool of largely unschooled dramatists (actors and tech crews included) in moviedom. Still, there are a few film producers here who do really great work- Tade Ogidan and Tunde Kelani for instance
